Chocolate Orange Peels

After we make fresh squeezed orange juice for our Tea Room & Café, we use the peels to create this luxurious confection!

Our dark chocolate orange peels have become a favorite not only among our selection of chocolate items but has been praised as the best of its kind.

Fresh oranges are peeled and candied in-house to ensure a maximum burst of flavor. This multi-step process begins with orange peels blanched in salt water (to soften), then candied in simple syrup for several days in a low-temperature oven (to preserve the peel and add sweetness). The peels are then covered three times in our signature Swiss dark chocolate.
