Featuring fresh nonpareil almonds and premium cocoa, this confection is created using a multi-step process: Almonds are roasted to a golden brown, delicately caramelized then coated with our signature Swiss milk chocolate (covered in powdered sugar) or dark chocolate (covered in cocoa powder). The ultimate amount of crunch and decadent chocolate coating.

The Swiss invented milk chocolate. It became famous because of its distinct flavor, a result of extended “conching,” which acts to evenly distribute cocoa butter while promoting flavor development. Conching creates heat that caramelizes the sugars, giving the chocolate a distinct caramel taste and a smooth, creamy texture.

A twist on the classic that brings the sweet crunch of our chocolate almonds together with "sel des Alpes," Salt of the Swiss Alps, one of the world’s purest salts and one that, until recently, was not available in the United States. Expertly blended into our decadent dark chocolate, the alpine salt creates a unique balance of sweet + savory flavor in every bite.

This proprietary blend was created by selecting cocoa beans from two of the world's premier growing regions: Ghana and Venezuela. With all-natural vanilla and an extended conching period, the process rounds out the flavors and releases volatiles and acids so that the focus is on the cocoa notes, creating a rich yet balanced flavor profile.

Extra Dark 80%

The most intense flavor of them all. This single-origin chocolate is grown by a family that has been active cacao farmers in the region of Sur del Lago, Venezuela for generations. The chocolate has an extraordinarily bold flavor without astringency. It is exceptionally well balanced, uniquely smooth, and rich in antioxidants + the many heart-healthy benefits of high cocoa content dark chocolate.

This product will be made without soy beginning in winter 2022. 

All products are made in a facility with flour, nuts and milk. No peanuts on premises. No wheat. No gluten. No preservatives. Enjoy within a few months of purchase. Store in a cool, dry place.

As of March 2022, our Signature Milk and Dark Chocolate contain sunflower lecithin (no soy) regardless of ingredients that may be listed on packaging.


We roast our fresh nonpareil almonds to a golden brown. While they are roasting in a large copper kettle, we add sugar to create a thin caramelized shell around each almond, giving them just the perfect amount of crunch. We then mix the almonds with powdered sugar then place them in revolving pans (like a big cement mixer). As they spin, we drizzle in chocolate. The almonds collect more and more chocolate as they roll.  As the mixer spins, it rounds out the chocolate to give an even coating to each almond. This intensive process ensures that each almond has the ultimate amount of crunch and decadent chocolate coating.

When we first opened, André would mix our chocolate almonds in a bowl by hand, blending in chocolate to coat the almonds. He would know that there was enough chocolate coating on the almonds when his arm felt like it was going to fall off. 

André’s son, Macel introduced, introduced the panning method we use today that he learned while training as a pastry chef in Switzerland.

We now have four flavors of Chocolate Almonds (which can be seen in the collection here): 

  1. Signature Milk - made with our proprietary blend of 34% Swiss Milk Chocolate
  2. Signature Dark - made our proprietary blend of 60% Swiss Dark Chocolate
  3. Salt of the Swiss Alps Dark -   made our same proprietary blend of 60% Swiss Dark Chocolate but blended with Sel des Alpes pure Swiss Alpine Salt
  4. Extra Dark - made with 80% Single Origin Dark Chocolate from a multigenerational cocoa farm in Venezuela
