We partnered with fellow Missouri business Edelbrand Pure Distilling in 2022 to celebrate our shared Swiss heritage by creating a cherry-flavored confection, Brandy-Soaked Cherry Bonbons.
Edelbrand Pure Distilling is a family-owned and -operated distillery located in the heart of Missouri. They produce single-batch spirits made in the Swiss tradition, crafted by hand to bring out the pure essence of each fruit. Their Artisanal Cherry Brandy (“Kirsch”), with notes of rose petals and almond, is made with fresh Bing cherries out of Washington state.
In Europe, vinars, also known as eau de vie, is a traditional dry, unaged spirit sipped after dinner, when time slows for relaxed conversation. It is equally enjoyable splashed over chilled Prosecco as an aperitif and as beautifully nuanced additions to handcrafted cocktails.
