Shipping Information, Refunds + Privacy Policies

We strive to make the world’s best chocolate and want you to experience our luxury products the same way our customers enjoy them in Kansas City. 

Shipping

Every one of our handcrafted products is made and shipped absolutely fresh and of the highest quality. (For items that cannot be shipped, please select "Store Pickup" on the "Shopping Cart" page before checkout.)

Please note:

  • Due to the perishable nature of our products, orders are typically shipped Monday to arrive by Friday of the same week, barring UPS shipping delays. This also helps to reduce the risk that your products could sit in a warehouse over the weekend, where they could be exposed to extreme temperature changes and melt.
  • Please select an Express Polar option when shipping to or from an area of warm weather (with temperatures over 70° F). (View “When Shipping to Warm Regions” section below for details.)
  • Quiche and Fondue are only available to ship during cold weather months (and are "Pickup Only" during warm weather months).
  • Orders may be placed for future shipping or pickup dates (on the "Shopping Cart" page before checkout).
  • We are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes or to areas outside of the U.S..
  • No signature is required to receive your package.
  • We do not enclose invoices or packing slips.
  • Once your order is finalized, you will receive a confirmation email with a recap of your order then another email with tracking information. We suggest monitoring your tracking info & retrieving your package as soon as it arrives (to avoid heat/sun exposure)*

 

*When Shipping to Warm Regions:

Chocolate should melt in your mouth, not when it's shipped. When shipping to/from areas of warm weather (with temperatures above 70° F during transit or delivery), please select an Express Polar option—2-Day or Overnight. (Our system will allow you to choose options that include a Polar pack, or will default to the Polar pack option. As temperatures cool, options will default to no Polar pack needed.)

Price per destination:
UPS Ground: $15 
UPS Ground Polar: $19 - Recommended when shipping to/from 60-70° F temps
UPS 2 Day Polar: $40 - Recommended when shipping to/from 70-80° F temps

UPS Overnight Polar: $60 - Necessary when shipping to/from 80° F and above


The image on this page is an estimated timeline for UPS Ground Shipping from our store in Kansas City. These are not guaranteed delivery days, simply estimates by UPS, and may vary during holidays and holiday seasons. 

Yellow - should arrive the day after it leaves us
Brown - 2 days after
Green - 3-4 days after, & Red 4-5 days after

, please use our downloadable shipping template to ensure that formatting is consistent with our system. Please also verify shipping addresses. Added fees apply if corrections are required. 

Products are subject to availability. Advance ordering is recommended, especially during the busy winter holiday season. You may choose a later "Shipping" or "Store Pickup" date on the "Shopping Cart" page before checkout. 

Please note that special and high volume orders (such as corporate gifts) placed after November 1st cannot be guaranteed to arrive by Christmas. 

 

Refunds

We are not responsible for broken/melted/unattended/lost/stolen packages.

Products cannot be returned. All items from our stores are sold on a non-returnable basis unless defective. Items that are determined to be defective may be eligible for a full or partial refund upon inspection from our customer service team.

 

Privacy

We are committed to respecting your needs for protection and management of the personal information you share with us. We do not share consumer information with any third party.

You may sign up for our email newsletters (below or at the time of your online order). You can opt out at any time via the "unsubscribe" feature (listed at the bottom of each mailing).
