Produced using premium Criollo cocoa beans, a rare delicacy, sourced from a fair-trade plantation in Sambirano, Madagascar. This chocolate is created with 64% cocoa using only beans from this area in Madagascar which, unlike chocolate that uses a blend of beans, allows you to taste the distinct flavor created by the climate, soil, and Criollo cocoa trees of the individual region.
This chocolate boasts a fruity flavor with tasting notes of forest berries, plum and orange blossom, topped with notes of coffee, cinnamon, roasted hazelnuts and a hint of cedar and clove, leading to a long lasting, harmonious finish.
The 3.5 oz full size bar has break-away squares+ a resealable sticker.
