ONE NIGHT ONLY: AN EVENING WITH ROSE LEVY BERANBAUM & ERIN JEANNE MCDOWELL
Hosted by René Bollier, Third-Generation President and Executive Pastry Chef of André's Confiserie Suisse
Two baking legends. One night. A friendship over twenty years in the making.
Erin Jeanne McDowell was sixteen when she first picked up Rose Levy Beranbaum's The Cake Bible, the book that made her decide to become a baker. Years later, the two would work side by side styling photos for Rose's The Baking Bible, and when Erin published her first cookbook, it was Rose who wrote the foreword. They've been friends and collaborators ever since.
We've been lucky enough to call both Rose and Erin friends over the years, collaborating with Rose on our own version of her Swiss Chocolate Cherry Almond Pound Cake for The Cake Bible's 35th anniversary, and with Erin on our Savory Cracker Bundle to celebrate her cookbook Savory Baking.
So, when their fall book tours just happened to bring them both through Kansas City at the same time, they knew exactly who to call!
Join us for one night only as Rose celebrates her new memoir, Ma Vie en Rose (My Sweet Life), and Erin celebrates her latest cookbook Bake Anything.
Enjoy a discussion between two dear friends, followed by a live Q&A and book signing.
Sweet samplings to be provided, plus additional André’s favorites available for purchase.
$80 | Includes a copy of both books
Limited tickets available
