This artistically stunning Bûche de Noël (yule log) is a classic Swiss holiday dessert made using our traditional recipe: Layers of cake and buttercream rolled together, delicately wrapped in flakes of our signature Swiss chocolate, then topped with marzipan and chocolate décor.

Although different types of Bûche de Noël can be seen across the world in various sizes, shapes, and textures, and with different types of ingredients, the original inspiration for all of these versions was the yule log, the largest and most dense log on the fire on Christmas that would burn for hours throughout the night. Immortalized as a torte, our Bûche allows families to carry on the custom and symbolism of the yule log, representative of family, home, celebration, and promise.
