These dark chocolate truffles are made with single-origin Criollo cocoa beans from three of the most beloved growing regions around the world.
Similar to wine, single-origin cocoa beans are like grapes from a vineyard, producing chocolate that conveys defined characteristics from a particular soil and vintage.
The cocoa beans used for these truffles are premium Criollo beans: rare, valuable, and precious delicacies. The beans are local to specific origins and boast distinct flavor profiles created by the climate, soil, and trees of the regions in which they grow.
Our confiseurs use Criollo cocoa beans from three of the most premier growing regions around the world, each with varying percentages of cocoa content, and expertly blend them with high-quality butter and cream to create three wonderfully strong yet delicately smooth and luxurious dark chocolate truffles.
