Van Gogh Art Inspired Chocolate Bâtons

The third item in our art inspired product series, inspired by an iconic work in the collection of The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art and created in collaboration with The Roasterie. Their Rispal Blend Coffee along with our Lemon Mocha Bâtons creates a taste experience to correspond with the visual artistry of Vincent Van Gogh’s Restaurant Rispal at Asnières.

Our Lemon Mocha Bâtons are created using our signature Swiss 34% milk chocolate with notes of cream, pear, caramel, and vanilla. The chocolate is also infused with lemon to emulate the bright, sunny, relaxed setting in the painting. We then add fresh ground Gotham Espresso beans from The Roasterie. The follow-up note of coffee adds both a distinct textural element to emulate Van Gogh's paint stroke technique as well as honors Van Gogh’s love for a rich cup of coffee.

Like the painting which showcases Van Gogh's signature small and distinct dots of color, the flavors are intended to be brilliant and defined on their own yet blend and evolve to create a surprising balance of flavor, mirroring the evolutionary experience in the visual art.
