Swiss-Style Dobosh Torte

| /

Seven thin layers of crisp yellow cake and rich chocolate ganache, covered in a hard chocolate shell.

Typically not as moisture-laden as the traditional American "cake", this torte is a European classic. It differs from the traditional Hungarian specialty, known as "Dobos", which has sponge cake, buttercream and caramel.

Our version is created with yellow cake baked to a near crisp, layered with rich chocolate ganache seven times over, then cut into a rectangular shape and covered in a hard dark chocolate shell.

Simple yet elegant, this confectionery delight has seen many variations since it was first introduced in the late 1800s and boasts a unique appearance and taste.
