Dark Chocolate (Single Origin Venezuelan Cocoa Beans, Sugar, Cocoa Butter, Madagascar Vanilla), Almonds, Sugar, Cocoa Powder, Powdered Sugar. 

Contains almonds. Made in a facility with flour, nuts and milk. 
No peanuts. No gluten. No soy. No dairy. Vegan.
No preservatives. Store in a cool, dry place away from heat and sunlight.

Made with non-engineered, fairly traded, ethically sourced and sustainably grown cocoa. 

This product is produced using premium Criollo cocoa beans, a rare delicacy, grown by a family that has been active cacao farmers in the region of Sur del Lago, Venezuela for generations. This chocolate is created with 80% cocoa using only beans from this area which, unlike chocolate that uses a blend of beans, allows you to taste the distinct flavor created by the climate, soil, and Criollo cocoa trees of the individual region. 

As we take each step in the chocolate-making process seriously, from the cocoa plantation to your taste buds, we strive to maintain the highest standards in all of our processes from start to finish. We work with partners who carefully select the best cocoa beans. Our partners work directly with cocoa farmers to ensure safe, fair and sustainable trading practices. 

This single origin 80% extra dark chocolate is exceptionally well balanced, rare for high cocoa content chocolate. An intensive flavor experience with strong cacao notes supplemented by notes of raisin, cherry, espresso, licorice, black tea, cinnamon, orange blossom + a hint of prune to create a slow yet intensive finish. 

A powerful source of antioxidants and minerals + contains the many said heart-healthy benefits of a high cocoa content chocolate.

For items that cannot be shipped, please select "Store Pickup" (at our KC store or OP store location) on the "Shopping Cart" page before checkout. 

Please note:

• Orders are shipped at the beginning of each week to avoid a risk that your chocolates could sit in the courier’s warehouse and face extreme changes in temperature. 
• We are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes.
• We are unable to ship outside of the U.S.
• Orders may be placed for future shipping dates.
• No signature is required to receive your package.
• We do not enclose invoices or packing slips.
• Once your order is finalized, you will receive a confirmation email with a recap of your order then another email with tracking information. We suggest monitoring your tracking info + retrieving your package once it arrives (to avoid heat/sun exposure)*
• Our Quiche and Cheese Fondue are only available to ship during cold weather months (and are "Pickup Only" during warm weather months).

*Important Information Regarding Shipping to Warm Regions

Chocolate should melt in your mouth, not in transit. When shipping to/from areas of warm weather (when temperatures exceed 70° around the time of delivery), please select an express polar shipping option. 

Our system will allow you to choose options that include a cold pack, or will default to the cold pack option. As temperatures cool, shipping options will default to no cold pack needed.

UPS Ground with Polar: $17-19 - Recommended when shipping to/from 60-80 degree temps
UPS 2 Day with Polar: $40 - Recommended when shipping to/from 80+ degree temps
UPS Overnight with Polar: $60 - Recommended when shipping to/from 90+ degree temps
