Chocolate Fondue Melting Coins

Creamy milk and rich dark chocolate in coin form and ready for melting.

Simply blend with milk and butter then heat to create a decadent dip for slices of fruit, gingerbread, nuts, cookies, marshmallows, or a number of different bite-sized treats. 
This easy after-dinner dessert is fun to make and enjoy at home with friends or family and can be ready in as little as 5 minutes. 

Use both the milk and dark chocolate coins for a rich, balanced flavor. Add more milk coins for a sweeter taste or more dark coins for a bolder taste depending on your preference. Flavor boost: Add 2 tbsp André’s Whiskey Caramel Sauce (with chocolate coins in the order listed on instructions).

SERVING INSTRUCTIONS: For 1 serving (feeds 3 people) using 5 oz (half the container) of chocolate* + ¼ cup whole milk + ¾ tbsp unsalted butter

Option 1 - Heat on the stove: Add milk + butter to a heavy cast iron or ceramic pot. Turn to low-medium heat (to avoid burning) and stir. Bring to a simmer. Turn off heat, add chocolate** and mix gently. Turn heat on low to assist in melting if needed. Mix until chocolate is smooth. 

Option 2 - Heat in the microwave: Add milk, butter + chocolate** to a microwave safe bowl. Heat on low (to avoid burning) for 30 second intervals for 2-4 minutes, stirring at each interval, until chocolate is smooth.

Serve immediately: Place over a heating element on low heat (to avoid burning the chocolate), stirring intermittently, and dip your choice of accoutrements with long-handle forks or skewers. 

*Container holds 10 oz (2 servings) of both milk + dark chocolate coins. Use both for a rich, balanced flavor. Add more milk coins for a sweeter taste or more dark coins for a bolder taste depending on your preference.
