The distinct flavor of this origin specific 72% dark chocolate is created by using premium Criollo cocao beans, a rare delicacy, grown on a plantation in Esmeraldas, Ecuador.  The single source beans allow you to taste the strong yet unique flavor created by the climate, soil, and Criollo cocao trees of the region.

Tasting notes: Its strong yet unique cacao flavor is enhanced with intensive notes of coffee and dried plum with a hint of licorice and black currant.
